I watched the movie tonig...Thanks for your review. I watched the movie tonight and felt it was ok but too long and I had trouble getting past some glaring discrepancies with the biblical record. The worst part for me was the last supper scene. It left out everything important. Even the Eucharist was distorted. Instead of Jesus breaking the bread and saying the words of consecration we have Mary breaking and passing around the bread. Another example was that it was made to seem that the apostles never saw the risen lord and that it was only Mary. There were quite a few other distortions that bothered me but hopefully those examples make my point. Joaquin Phoenix had his moments as did Rooney Mara.
